Leadership Team

Mel Miller has over 40 years of professional experience. Since 1995, she has been in Financial Services. Her experience in building her business and dedication to helping women has led her to create a forum for women dedicated to relationship building and personal and professional growth.

She created Business Sorority to be an organization of committed professionals with the energy and enthusiasm to make it one of the best business building and personal growth groups in the region. It is a "sisterhood" with genuine care and concern for each other and the desire to see one another succeed in business and personally by providing a forum to grow your circle, heart and mind.

Mel is committed to furthering the ability to connect with each other and form professional and personal relationships that truly lift each other up.

Social Director

  • Enjoy getting to know other professional women in a variety of activities.  From hiking at the Whitewater Center to our annual I Hate Valentine's Day party, socials are designed to get to know each other better (sometimes including our family members!).  Another way to get to know, like and trust other sisters to see how we can connect deeper.

Want to learn something about a good business book but don't have time to read it?  We choose our books carefully (they should fit with our mantra of grow your circle, heart and mind) and then we deliver our summary of the important items to know while you have a beverage of your choice!  No need to read the book, although after hearing about it you may want to!

Sister Liaison is designed to wrap our arms around our sisters that are going through struggles (illness, losing family members, etc.).  Another way of showing our love for each other in time of need. #lovearmy

While we would love to be able to celebrate everyone when they have positive news, we are unable to faciliate that through this means.  We feel with so many amazing women we would simply overwhelm our sisters with e-mails should we utilize the sister liaison for the celebrations, also.  Please do not hesitate to post positive sister news on our Facebook Group or tag our Instagram account #bizsorclt.
